Why I Donate: Both of my parents were regular blood donors for many years before medical restrictions rendered them unable to continue. It was their example that challenged me to begin donating back in 1967. It is a privilege to be associated with an organization that has, for over 60 years, been dedicated to meeting the whole blood and blood component needs of those in our community. It is extremely gratifying to know that my small sacrifice can mean so much to those who are ill or injured.
