Why I Donate: Donating blood requires little time, not much preparation, and no skill. After a while, it’s almost a social event. I like the people in the profession. It’s an opportunity to help fill one of society’s needs. All the money in the world can’t buy what blood donors provide for nothing. I consider myself privileged to be a participant in PSBC’s cutting-edge technology and research as they continually seek medical breakthroughs. I feel very fortunate to be able to donate blood. I feel even more fortunate to have never needed any of it back.
