Why I Donate: While serving in the Navy in the Philippines in 1960, I gave my first donation. After joining the Seattle Fire Department I donated on and off for a number of years, and it just became a habit. I saw the need for regular donors and, after 30 years with the Department and 14 years of retirement, I still feel the need.
