Why I Donate: I donate blood and platelets because I can. I believe this is a civic responsibility. Donating blood is a wonderful way to support the community, where the cost to the donor is merely time but the reward is measured in lives saved. It certainly helps that the good folks at the blood center are so friendly and helpful.
