    The heavy snow and ice we are experiencing in Western Washington is also impacting the region’s blood supply. Southwest Washington Blood Program’s blood supply is currently at Critical levels, roughly a two to three day supply. A number of blood drives have been cancelled and many donors have had difficulty making it to scheduled blood drives.
  • New Blood Donor Center to Open Wednesday, January 17
    Southwest Washington Blood Program of Puget Sound Blood Center will open its new, permanent blood donor center, located just east of Westfield Vancouver mall, at noon on Wednesday, January 17, 2007. The new, state-of-the-art donor center is being built to help accommodate the needs of patients and medical facilities in our community.
  • Westfield Vancouver Location of Month Long + Mobile Blood Drive
    Southwest Washington Blood Program will host a mobile blood drive at Westfield Vancouver beginning Tuesday, November 28, 2006.   The drive will take place just inside the mall entrance located between Sears and Old Navy.  The mobile drive will continue at that location through the month of December and most of the month of January.

    Southwest Washington Blood Program is fortunate to have a dedicated group of people – blood donors, blood drive coordinators, entire high schools and more – willing to take time and energy to make the gift of life available to countless people in our community who need blood transfusions.
