Puget Sound Blood Center Donor Centers Open Special Hours December 24th

December 21, 2007  SEATTLE — It’s not too late! You can still give the best gift of all, the gift of life. That’s what you’re providing when you donate blood. An hour of your time can mean years of life for someone else. What better gift can there be? And you don’t have to squeeze down a chimney to deliver it. In the midst of the holidays, a time when many of us are busy with other plans, your donation is especially important. Please donate blood during the holidays.

Special Holiday Hours
Generous donors are the reason the Blood Center meets the needs of patients in the region. While Blood Center locations and mobiles are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, all 11 permanent donation centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Please note the Blood Center’s Bellingham, Everett, Silverdale and Vancouver, WA donor centers, normally closed on Mondays, will be open Monday, December 24th, Christmas Eve.

During the remainder of the week, between the two holidays, please plan to donate at one of the Blood Center’s 11 permanent locations or at mobile drives collecting blood. Those interested in donating can schedule a time by calling 800-398-7888 or visiting the Blood Center’s Web site, HYPERLINK "http://www.psbc.org" www.psbc.org, where Donor Center hours-of-operation and times for mobiles can be located.
